The 'assault' on 'free speech' ... the censorship taking away our 'free speech' ... is designed to destroy us ... have absolutely no doubt about that ... there is no valid 'excuse' for the censorship that has been going on ... and the censorship that is being 'pushed' ... it is evil ... and that 'evil' ... is very deliberate ...

Ian ... you have written one of the best defenses of 'free speech' I have ever read ... thank you ...

Hear! Hear! As an integrative and lifestyle medicine General Practitioner I totally agree with what you have said in your post, which has beautifully constructed arguments and is well written. It saddens me greatly that nutritional medicine is not embraced by the mainstream, so that we can prevent the majority of chronic illnesses.

Yesterday, when I listened to Donald Trump speaking about freedom of speech, I was inwardly cheering. It was so refreshing to hear someone that is not going to bow down to the lunacy of the misinformation and disinformation proponents. Sadly, around 2000 I discovered that Australian's do not have the same right to free speech as those in the United States of America. Even back then freedom of speech was being curtailed and supressed. I believe we need a change to our Australian constitution to reflect the right to freedom of speech. It is necessary to protect Australians.

Thank you for speaking up about these issues, and for your ongoing fight, both for nutritional medicine and for freedom of speech. It is greatly appreciated!

Is it not the mainstream that asserts that diet (nutrition) has no (zero) effect on health and healing?

We need to separate Health from Medical. They have never been the same pony.

Whilst I support free speech it seems apparent there is a culture of censorship on Substack which is allowed to flourish within stacks. e.g. I take people to task when I read the increasing garbage about toxic supplements and otherwise sensible people start recommending the complete avoidance of vitamins and supplements. Then I get banned. Do you have any thoughts on why there is this increasing attack on an entire industry with an unparalleled safety record? It seems very strange.

The cancer culture has been manipulated for decades. Any healing options have been suppressed. Great reading at: ahealedplanet.net

A great read. I love this line...."Today, humanity stands on the brink of the abyss, and almost nobody seems to know or care."

I trained as a nurse but gave it up completely in the 80's. After 18 years I could see what was happening in 'health' and it did not sit well with me. I didn't fully wake until c0vid. Somehow I have always had a thirst for alternative treatments even though my parents were completely obedient to the mainstream. Now I feel blessed to be part of a community of likeminded humans. Thanks you Ian for your excellent writing and leadership.

Somewhere the 'system' turned it all around.

Ian, You really hit the nail on the head.

My father passed away from parkinsons nearly two years ago, and I could see what the medicines were doing to him. He was also on Statins and heart medications and things for bp as well.

His health suddenly took a downturn during the last 3 months, it was absolutely unbelievable. There was nothing natural about the way he died, he was in his late 80s at the time, but I do not believe he simply died of old age. He did not believe in vitamins or anything natural or homeopathic, and got quite upset with me when he heard about me experimenting with vitamin c and d. He Also spoke about Ian Brighthope with much disdain, but, he was still my father, and a damn good one! he suffered terribly toward the end, he had to have radiotherapy on his neck, because he had thyroid cancer, and he had difficulty swallowing so his food had to be crushed in a blender and made in to smoothies. The meds decreased his appetite, so he grew week and tired and uncoordinated, and the meds for parkinsons made him hallucinate, so they had to keep chopping and changing them. I still grieve for him, I still miss him, I even dream about him.

This is a brilliant piece Ian. Perhaps your best yet. Hidden agendas are ugly things. I have no doubt that this is all about power, deranged fools thinking they can control the masses so they can stay in office to enforce their view of how the world should be, whilst virtue signaling their way to their delusion of self-importance and their self-canonization as saviors of humanity. I am sharing this.
